BPI's AURELIO "GIGI" MONTINOLA III IS RETIRING

BPI President Aurelio "Gigi" Montinola will be retiring on April 18 right after the annual stockholders' meeting.  He will be succeeded by investment banker Cezar Consing.  Montinola has been president of BPI since 2005 and was the "Management Man of the Year" in 2012.

The young looking president is silent on his future plans and is scheduled to take a vacation in the US after retirement.  He is a Director of FEU and Lafarge Republic.

BPI is one of the highly successful banks in the Philippines known for its innovation and financial strength.  The bank regularly introduces promos and also aggressively market their credit cards.
